Daily life in Ancient Rome for women
Women in ancient Rome were citizens but still did not have the right to vote or be elected. Because of there limited public roles.Women were also named less frequently then men. But while Roman women held no direct political power, Those from wealthy/powerful family names could and did exert influence through private meetings. The clothing for the women in Rome was fairly simple usually wore 2-3 articles of cloth. Girls in ancient Rome generally married quite young, in their teens, their husbands would be a few years older. If a girl was married with manus, then she passed from the authority of her father into that of her husband. But if she was married without manus, then the Pater Familias of her own family remained her legal guardian,and she remained subject to his authority rather than her husband's.
Daily life in Ancient Rome for men
Men's work would depend on where you lived in the cities or the countryside.If they were to live in a city there jobs could range from being a Tradesmen, shopkeepers and craftsmen ,bath houses, and building work.If you were to live in the country side of Rome your main job would be a Shepard or a Farmer because you need someone to produce all of the crops for people to buy. Men in ancient Rome had all authority in Public roles. Also men would where 1-3 Articles of cloth for cloths.
